Default (Help) Deep 1man/3heros

I've been trying to complete the Deep in HM with no more than 3 heros. And, even if I've been able to go trough nearly half of it, I'm stuck now <_> I simply can't pass the Scorpion room.

So here are the bars I've been using...

And this is how far I've gotten...

Any tips for the room? I suppose I'll have to kill onis first by the big jade block, but what next? I don't think heros will be smart enough to run trough :S

Any advice to improve the bars will be welcomed as well ^^

Unless someone else has a genius idea that looks like the end of the run to me.

It may be possible to pull mobs to the other stairs on the right and pull them as small groups which should clear the path to the aspect/gate easily enough.(once you clear oni popups and closer patrols)

I'm also thinking that seed alone won't cope well with the healing needed in Room 15 if you can get there

Nightmare Aspect While under this aspect, you suffer -8 Health degeneration.
But if you flag heros outside the aspect and recall them after 1kd x3 to trigger the spawn it should be ok?

As for Kanaxai's chamber I was planning to use a Ghostly Stone, and hope i could kill him fast enough (Shivers+Dissonance could neat enough interrupts, Insidious Parasite+Empathy+SS should be giving a nice damage, and I'd be providing the KD's.).

But again, I don't want to think about what I'll be doing when I'm still facing that stupid room >_<

That would help but a backup plan might be better for a first attempt. You can always test and modify.

KD-Recall KD-Recall KD-Recall and he will pull quite easily without popups so should be killable in reasonable time. I'm also thinking if there are any benefits of Inspired Enchantment/Revealed Enchantment over Spinal Shivers.

Paranon or Babes may be able to shed some light?

very good work for trying, especially without cons, for scorpion, the only thing i can think of would be basically to kill everything 1 group at a time. We don't even run through there when we take 9 heroes. Might wanna try taking consets aswell and dropping the ST rt, either for another healer or a spirit spammer.

edit: kanaxai only requires 2 KDs CB.. :P

^^I work largely off memory which is fuzzy at best so shh.. ucwutididthar?

As i see it, there would be 2 ways of killing kana, once you have kd'd him, you could either pop a ghastly stone and hope you kill it before your monk runs out of energy, or you could pop a mystical stone and hope that that is enough to keep you alive while you kill kana. It is enough to keep 2 people alive in that room, not sure about 4.

Oh, I do use cons, it's just they'd ran out when I took the screen. Don't think I could've gone so far without them xD.

About dropping the ST rit, I've thought about it, but the problem is that, if there's a minimun leak of foes, heros are pretty much condemned...

Ill try switching it by a SoS with splinter/ancestor's and Mend body & soul/Spirit light and see what happens...Any suggestions on what to put in the necro bar instead of rit spells?

About using a Mystical Stone, im afraid of how long Kanaxai will take without the extra damage & interruptions from the rider

PS. Calista, I knew about the 2 KD thing ^_^ Didn't even thought of doing it with sappings all around the room lol. But thx anyway

I'm verging on suggesting N/Me and taking Inspired/Revealed Enchantment as both will strip Nightmare Refuge and instantly recharge.Hex duration isn't a problem due to no Natural Resistance so it comes down to remove/interrupt but I'm not entirely sure what else would suit to slot in @ 8/9 which leaves 10/9SR 12Curses before runes.

N/Me Inspired enchant leaves 2 slots open if you drop Spinal

N/P "Stand your ground" "Never give up" "Never surrender" all reasonable regen/energy/armor at 8 command(flamehat on,just throwing ideas out here) (two spare slots with spinal kept)

N/E - Ward against foes or Melee /GolE May well have more defensive/surivability vs a command shout variant.

Well, it seems we are facing Natural Resistance ( http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Kanaxai ). However, I like the thing about droping Shivers for Inspired.

How about... SS/Inspired Ench/Empathy ?

Oh,and put this in for the ritualist: [1]

I know i should be bringing something useful from another proffesion, but i don't really know what to drop :7

My bad I never looked at: NR "Boss like foes" Kanaxai >.< Although that gives a stronger argument for Inspired,Spinal will still be somewhere in the region of 16-20 seconds duration which still leaves the two slots open.

Im wondering how much benefit 5-6sec Empathy will have, would it be enough to justify the attribute split over taking Spinal and running stronger /E or /P for example.

Choices now hehe

Well, taking EoE on the necro could help with breakage, apart from that im not sure. Inspired is a very energy-heavy way of dealing with kanaxai's refuge. (10e per cast, 50% fail chance = average of 20e every 10secs)

I'd recommend dropping those rt damage skills for rt heals (on the necro). You're probably better off dropping shivers and just interrupting Nightmare Refuge with "YMLaD!" (if you can) - you heroes energy wont let it maintain more than SS on Kanaxai.

Hell yes! Got past Scorpion Room! So happy.

In the end, it was easier than i thought. First, do the big Oni pull, and move only the SS necro so he uses MoP. Spike onis to death, drop recall, recover.

Jump onto the first outcast group, spike it, go back. Recover.

Go to the outcasts that are by the right, spike them and go to the stairs that are far by the right, deactive the Fire Flower and flag heros there (safe spot, no Scorpion triggers there).

Kill next group of outcasts, the one which is in front of you, and after that, go to the end of the room, by the right (more or less where the screen shows). Quickly aggro Kanaxai's Aspect and you're practically safe, since heros will be jumping into Kanaxai, and no randomly all over the room. Kill Kanaxai's Aspect = Profit!

Sadly, I went to the next room without much thinking and got killed there, lag and my stupidity thinking I could outcome the upcoming foes were my murderers. However, this room shouldn't be really difficult with careful planning. Next room is piece of cake, since its just grabbing all sapings and spike them, something u can do solo ^_^.

Aspect of Decay somehow scares me...Not for the mobs, since I'll be using the recall trick, but for the massive deg its there :7 Well, I'll take care of that when i get to it . I forgot to bring the summoning stones anyway, so i don't think i could've made the run

Thx everyone for all the tips given, keep them coming if u know more ^_^

Let us know when you make it to Kanaxai and how you did it :P I can't think of much else off-hand.

GJ so far and GL on finishing, bridges shouldn't be too hard if you kill the back aggro first, and sappings can be soloed, idk what to say about decay, in heroway we usually turn left and kill all the foes, not sure if it'll work with only 3 heroes though.

For the Aspect of Decay I'd suggest using the recall trick, killing the remaining 6 oni then flagging your heroes back and running around turning all flowers off yourself, then continuing with the heroes.

Ok, I got till the Sapping Nightmares today, and got killed because of massive lag :7

Bridges where indeed really easy, just pop the spawns, die, wait till all have popped and then go calm.

I'll see if tomorrow/this night servers are better and I can actually manage to do it...

PS. Scorpion rooms is now easy indeed ^_^ The only difficult part is grabbing onis (at wich I suck)

Edit: D'oh!

Help @ pulling just the aspect?
